About Melissa H. Daugherty, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of clinical experience in counseling individuals, couples, and families. I graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 1993 with a Masters of Science in Social Administration and in 1991 from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.

Throughout my professional career, I've worked in various out-patient and in-patient settings before starting private practice in July of 2005. Since then I've worked hard to provide quality mental health care to clients near the Clarion area. Professionally, I am a long-standing member of NASW, the National Association of Social Workers, and AACC, the American Association of Christian Counselors.

On a personal note, I live near the Clarion area with my husband, Aaron, and have two adult children, Jenna and Jacob. In addition to work and spending time with family and friends, I love spending time in nature, working on landscaping and creative projects, watching movies, and playing with my pets. I'm also very much dedicated to my own personal and spiritual journey, and living a healthy, simple life.
